This study examined the impact of the world financial crisis and openness of the economy on the financial performance of Jordanian listed banks through the period 2005-2008.Panel data analysis is employed to examine study hypotheses.The opheliasmuse.com results showed that the world financial crisis has a negative and significant impact on the financial performance measured by return on assets, return on equity, earning per share, market share prices, and market value usc trojans snapback hat while it has a positive but not significant impact on dividend yields.The study also found that openness of the economy has a positive and significant impact on the financial performance of Jordanian listed banks.
